Then I uninstalled it, restarted, reinstalled it, set the on-board memory back to 100% default, uninstalled G HUB again, restarted, reinstalled it, and tried again. To see if I could get it working again, I uninstalled Logitech G HUB, restarted my computer, reinstalled it and still the problem persisted. Based on the DPI shown, I concluded that those settings are the ones that were being loaded after restarting my computer or shutting it down or turning the mouse off and back on. It was as though the Details display was loading from cache and hadn't been updated with my current settings. When I went to edit the profile, my preferred DPI was definitely selected. So, creating a second profile killed Logitech G HUB. Prior to creating that second profile, the Details display always showed the current DPI setting. No matter how many times I changed it or restarted my computer or deleted and recreated a profile, etc, nothing fixed this problem. That is, my DPI was showing as 800 even though I have it set higher than that. The Details display for my default profile wasn't showing the actual settings. Prior to creating that second profile, the on-board memory worked perfectly. I had to open G HUB and load the profile again. The on-board profile would always permanently unload if I restarted my computer or shut it down, or if I turned the mouse off. After creating the second profile though, I began testing the on-board memory function to see if this flawless functioning continued. That is, the profile remained active without G HUB running, even after restarting my computer without G HUB starting with Windows. I would have been able to take my mouse to a different computer and still have all of my settings. I simply switched the profile in G HUB and I was good to go. As expected, I no longer needed Logitech G HUB. Before creating the new profile, the on-board memory worked beautifully. Everything seemed ok for a little while after making the new profile, but then I decided to test the on-board memory for manual profile switching without Logitech G HUB running in the background (in the off chance I took my mouse to a LAN party). Everything worked exactly as expected and I was loving it. I replaced it with Logitech Gaming Software, and its FAR better than Logitech G HUB.Īt first, Logitech G HUB was fine.
